The Grief Education Institute (GEI) equips healthcare professionals, educators, community partners, clergy, and other child and family serving professionals with the knowledge and practical skills needed to compassionately support children, teens, young adults and families who are grieving.
GEI’s experienced faculty offers presentations, workshops, professional development, and community education designed to strengthen grief-informed care across organizations and communities. Presentations are available virtually or in person, depending on your location.
Training topics range from developmental responses to grief and healing through expressive arts to understanding the physiological impact of complicated grief, while providing practical strategies that participants can apply.
Presentations are available in English and Spanish. Continuing Education Units (CEUs) are available for eligible mental health professionals upon request.
