Rackspace Employees to Transform New CBC Facility

SAN ANTONIO (May 20, 2010) – As renovation work is completed on the new Children’s Bereavement Center of South Texas (CBCST) facility at 205 West Olmos, Rackspace, through its “Rack Gives Back” program, has volunteered to provide the finishing touches that will make the space feel like home to the hundreds of children and their families who come to the Center for therapy and support programs each year.

On May 20, more than a hundred volunteers from Rackspace will put in landscaping, plant trees and create a sensory garden outside the kitchen window where children can smell, feel and taste fresh herbs and spices. Inside the Children’s Bereavement Center home, Rackers will be painting murals on walls, revamping therapy rooms and refinishing furniture, all in preparation for the CBCST’s grand opening on June 25.
